Please join the Marin and greater Bay Area TED Community for
an A-list set of speakers, amazing TED talks,
a reception featuring great wine and light appetizers,
plus classic in-person social networking.
TEDxMarin's goal, first and foremost, is to bring together our Marin-based community for an Inspiring evening of discussion and connecting. Never has the importance and reach of the communication revolution been so apparent as it is today. From the spreading uprising for democracy in the Middle East, to the catastrophic and world affecting challenges facing Japan, quite simply we live in a time where the speed of communication changes everything. Join us as we (mostly) unplug from our communication devices for a few hours and meet face to face. Tickets are non-refundable.

TEDxMarin
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxMarin, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxMarin event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
